L.A. producer Josh Legg’s Goldroom project is quite exciting. Not quite a full on pop song and not quite a ballad, “Embrace” is a shimmery dance tracks with simple star-gazing moments all the same. Guest singer Ariela Jacobs’ acrobatic vocals drive the song’s sympathetic narrative, as her soaring promise of “Easing into your embrace” rises over drummer Nick Sandler’s pulsy timekeeping for a modern, humanist take on Goldroom’s signature dancefloor roboticism.
